Role Description

  • Triaging incidents with emphasis on restoring service to normalcy quickly as well as accurate Root Cause Analysis in Production Environments ( that has complex applications architecture, high visibility applications, multiple support teams involved ) in order to prevent Incidents from reoccurring in the environment and impact analysis
  • Will be involved in building out new application server environments, Data Center Migration projects that involve environment build outs, getting loadbalancing configuration changes implemented from peer groups, Application deployments and Monitor Implementations
  • Environment Availability management
  • Implementing changes in Production Environment
  • Splunk Administration
  • Automations
    • Documentation (Technical steps and process involved)
Job Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience
Atleast 2.5 yrs into Production Support (Incident and Change Management)

Candidate Description
Candidate should have prior experience and knowledge in following technical areas and competencies.
Technical Skills :
  • High - Knowledge of Production Support policies such as Incident Management, Change Management
  • High - Tomcat, Web Sphere Application Server 8.5 Liberty profile, Iplanet, XtremeScale, Messagebroker
  • High Udeploy, CICD concepts
  • High Agile methodologies Scrum, Sprint
  • High - Unix basics knowledge Linux
  • High - Usage of monitoring tools such as SiteScope, Coradiant, Gomez, Splunk
  • Medium Splunk administration
  • Medium Usage knowledge of Docker,Nginix,Jenkins, Nexus / artifactory
  • Medium WSO2 (Enterprise Service Bus)
  • Medium Cloud knowledge (REST APIs, Chef, AWS)
  • Medium - Knowledge of loadbalancing systems such as BigIP, 3DNS
  • Medium - Knowledge of Network Basics
  • Medium Automation skills such as Shell Scripting, Groovy basics, Java basics, SQL quieries
