Possess 2-6 years of relevant experience in financial services, i.e. structured finance products, deal execution desks, financial modelling.
Be brilliant with numbers, analysing financial statements, interpreting data and solving problems
And at the same time be able to build business relationships, talk to various levels of an organisation (CXOs to analysts), get work done by various people
Ability to structure, discuss the deal contours with the relevant business team, capital market team and execute the transactions to meet the client's complex financing requirements (end to end) within the purview of business and regulatory requirements.
Develops products by identifying potential products; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, and time-integrated plans for product introduction.
Monitor market trends to identify potential areas for the development of new financial products, and the restructuring of existing products
Ability to conceptualize and ideate new products tailor made to suit client’s requirement
Ability to document the product functionalities in great detail in form of Product Notes
Ability to work in cross functional team, revamp the internal process to achieve efficiency and scale
Well versed in MS Excel and other financial modelling tools – knowledge of VBA will be an additional advantage
Present / articulate / position an idea compellingly
Make sense of the macros –economic analysis, sectoral drivers, what regulators do
Possess a working understanding of law and regulations and the ability to understand and negotiate complex legal documents
Possess a good eye for detail and ability to work effectively under pressure
Think strategically – convey as much in stakeholder conversations and also aid in thought leadership within the team
Be as ambitious and passionate as we are, and hence be willing to go out of her / his way to forge relationships, burn the midnight oil to meet targets and deadlines
Have demonstrated acumen and intent through excellent academic record (minimum qualification – MBA in finance/CA)
