Principal Consultant - Project Management (Event based IT/e-Governance project)

Job Description
Job Role Pointers:
1. Provide leadership and strategic planning to the project management function in multiple ways, including being conversant with the future direction of the project and systems for the benefit of the state/concern department/Project organisation.
2. Project Planning, Monitoring and Implementation Support.
3. Status reporting and proactive coordination with all the stakeholders.
4. Preparation of project specific documentations and presentations and further Maintain the repository of all deliverables.
5. Managing project controls and suggesting project metrics for evaluating project health.
6. Provide guidelines to the department in developing contracts, DPR, RFP, LoI, Purchase Orders etc as and when required.
7. Formulate procurement plans for examination projects for respective departments.
8. Manage various activities in terms of periodic data collection, analysis, consolidation and presentation / regional status reporting consolidation.
9. Develop and maintain regular reports to the management.
10. Periodically track and assess the project risks and develop plans to mitigate such risks.
11. Manage relations and facilitate communications/ distribution of information to multiple stakeholders and leadership across various stakeholders within the government through meetings/ reports.
12. Identify implementation challenges, dependencies and integration points.
13. Assist Department in review of all Policy, Plan & Methodology Documents, Bill of Material (BOM) and other relevant Documents for Solution Implementation.
14. Recognize and identify potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change or development.
15. Preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
16. All other project related work assigned by department/ MAP_IT Nodal Authority.
