Job Description
Role Summary Practice Partner leads solution development, delivery and P&L responsibility for the identified area, and enhances capability of the practice through leveraging appropriate thought leadership & competency development initiatives. S/he leads the group of consultants and analysts from a utilization & capability building perspective. S/he actively supports business development & solutioning initiatives for existing or new customers in collaboration with the Consulting Partner team & the Pre-Sales groups. Principal Responsibilities  Holds the overall P&L responsibility for the domain practice ( single or multiple), which functions like a horizontal, and work with the various verticals & accounts at Wipro (In case heading the practice)   Develops roadmap for industry segment/competency; Competitive Service offerings, domain embedded solutions   Builds active partnerships with solution providers and alliance partners   Offers in-depth domain expertise in account engagements   Builds thought leaders who can develop & deliver solutions that can be taken to market   Presents POV ; white papers etc. at strategic industry and analyst conferences   Provides the presales support required for new and existing opportunities & increase the domain footprint   Ensures projects are adequately staffed and deliver high quality of work   Ensures overall utilization targets for the practice are met, and premium billing rates realized for the domain experts.   Assists and encourages individuals in achieving professional fulfillment.   Works to develop and improve practice policies, procedures, frameworks etc.   Conducts recruiting activities and interviews for consultants and participates in experienced hire recruiting activities to further strengthen domain competencies
