Job Description
  • Financial alignment and control, Understanding of contracted obligations, Achieve expectations for service delivery, Expected business benefits and value for money are being achieved, Improve forecasting and planning effectiveness and Improve our negotiation preparedness for financial discussions.
  •  Improved relationship ownership – ensure monitoring throughout year based on contract criteria, Increased vendor responsiveness and cooperation, Reduce disputes and misalignment with vendors and Objective debate over changes and issues
  •  Ensures company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to Procurement
  •  Responsible for establishing and maintaining Procurement Buyer procedures and processes to improve the efficiency of the group and actively guide and support team
  •  Develops operational metrics to track workload and provide transparency to processes
  • Interacts on a regular basis with upper management, external customers as well as internal partners to integrate solutions that meet the company’s goals both financially and operationally
  •  Develops periodic goals to include data tracking and automation, monitors all activities and ensure accurate completion of work
  • Provides input and support to budget management process
  • As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level
  • Lead & drive, multi-faceted sourcing initiatives; cost savings plans and targets; supplier relationship management objectives;
  • Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities
  • · Conducts performance management and career development processes, provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions and provides hands-on training to staff
  •  Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work
  • Communicating frequently and professionally with internal customers and stakeholders on the status of procurement actions. Advocating for the value of procurement by aligning with internal customers and ensuring that their requirements are met
  • Implement supplier agreements/contracts by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to reach agreement on contract terms and conditions
  • Driving process improvement initiatives that positively impact customers, stakeholders, and the team.
