Job Description
Areas Of Responsibility Include
  • Management of NOC staffing for 24x7 Operations, review and monitoring/scheduling.
  • Oversee day to day performance of NOC Operations and manage the SLA's across the projects.
  • Proactive monitoring of boards and monitoring tools to ensure SLA's are covered.
  • Reviewing current processes and procedures to ensure updates are instigated as appropriate
  • Keeping the documentation up to date with current procedures communicated by the Clients.
  • Identify repetitive issues/incidents and share the findings with client to get the RCA done for such issues.
  • Identify the opportunities to reduce rework and optimize team performance
  • Lead review call with the clients providing status update and report on exceptions
  • Prepare and run monthly project overview for the performance of the project
  • Proactively identify the problem areas work towards resolution with stake holders.
  • Identify areas to strengthen partnership with the clients and enhance business opportunity.

Essential Knowledge And Skills
  • Experience in managing team 24- 7 operations
  • Understanding of NOC operations, basics of networking and server management
  • Team Leader or Management experience of technical staff in DC Ops / NOC environment
  • Well versed with ITIL processes around Incident, Problem & Change Management
  • Reporting Skills- collate the data and study it for meaningful analysis.
  • Able communicator to effectively reach out to customers in timely manner for identified issues.

Basic Qualifications
  • A Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Experience supporting enterprise level IT infrastructure
  • 5+ years managing IT Infrastructure support teams or engineering teams.
  • 12+ years managing technical teams

Preferred Past Experience
  • Experience as a Network Engineer
  • Former role as a NOC Engineer
  • Technical Support Experience
  • Cisco & Microsoft certifications like CCNA/MCSE
  • ITIL v3 Certified/Trained
