Job Summary:

General Responsibility
Mapping with Primary DBA-
Will be mapped with one or multiple primary DBA's.
Availability -
Needs to available in office during all shifts. Also, he should be available 24*7 as and when needed
Availability -
Ideally second shift needs to be done from office whereas Principal Database Engineer / Database Engineer have provision to WFH during night shifts. However, he should be available  for support 24*7 as and when needed
Training Coordinator with SME -
Planning with SME for training requirement

Technical Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities 
Project Management -
Should be responsible for working on separate SOW or Project work
Attend client meetings -
Depending on the customer, it is necessary to attend ALL technical meetings.
Familiarity with assigned customers -
Should be very familiar with all of their assigned accounts to the point where they can make tactical decision on client work.
Complex Service Requests-
Knowledge and ability to execute complex service requests .
Install and configure monitoring -
Ability to install and configure Delta monitoring for their assigned clients
Daily Checklist -
Read and execute daily checklist for each assigned customer. Client activity review from previous day
Escalation Point -
Be an escalation point for Tier1, Tier 2, Tier3.  Instead of contacting customer or primary DBA when information is needed, Tier3 needs to be consulted with.
Problem Management -
Review previous incidents, looks for trends  and takes permanent corrective action
Incident Management -
Analysis of the incident occurance , High bar report.
Script inventory Management / review -
Develop and review Script in the inventory.
Automation  -
Automatizing the repeative task
Documenting the customer DBA process -
Documenting and educating the Customer DBA process to Tier 2 DBA. Playbooks.
Posting the Technolgoies related articles. -
Posting the new Technical articles

Additional Requirement:
Conducting Interviews-
Responsible for technical round of interview
TQC Reporting -
Responsible for sending list of tickets to Tier3's by the beginning of week. Also,responsible of reviewing the progress & authenticity of TQC
TQC Analysis -
Should be doing regular "Technical Quality Check" by using tool provided.
Coach and Train Tier1, Tier 2 , Tier3 DBAs -
Should use their knowledge on their assigned clients in order to coach and train the Tier1, Tier 2, Tier3 DBA  on the customer as needed.
PIR and Corrective Action -
Able to complete a post incident review and take corrective action in coordination with  Primary DBA
Consolidating Monthly Achievements – Summary -
Consolidating monthly achievements data sent by Tier3's for Global Oerations Meeting
Sending Monthly Achievements – Summary -
Providing monthly achievements data to PTM's & Leads for Global Operations Meeting
Conflict Management -
Resolve conflict among the Team members.
Mentoring the Tier 3 / Tier 2
Scheduling \ Hosting syncup meetings with Tier3 DBAs -
Accountable for scheduling regular syncup meetings with Tier3 DBAs to take followup on customer activities
Attending Syncup meeting with Pimary and Tier 3 DBA -
This optional , as an when required attending the Syncup meeting with primary and Lead DBA
Setting GOALs For   Tier 3 DBA
Monitor and Measure  the client expecation(SWOT)  of all the Tier 3 account -
Conduct Meeting between Tier 3 and SDM for revewing the Customer expecation (SWOT) and also monitor the Usage of billable hour 
Roster Management -
preparing roster for Tier3s
Annual Performance Appraisal Review -
Responsible to conduct 1:1 performance review discussion with Tier3 DBAs
Review & followup on Ticket \ call audit compliance summary data -
Reviewing and following up on data sent by Audit team and take necessery actions to meet the compliance requirements
India Operations Meeting -
Depending on requirements, it is necessery to attend India Operations Meeting 
look for business growth opporuninty among the supporting customer -
Findout opportunities for the new project assignment.
Customer Statisfaction review
facilities requirements for Tier 3 DBA
Capacity Management  -
Work on the capacity management for the Tier 3s and also keep a check on the mapping with the US leads
Documentation Maintenance -
Should ensure that customer documents related to connectivity, inventory and database transition are properly maintained in SN See Job Description
