Manager/Sr. Manager Mortgage Claims Job Description Work window - Continues Night Shift - 5:30pm to 4:30am Leading a Team in US Mortgage claims operations Team will be involved in Responsible for reviewing, researching, analyzing and collating appropriate supporting documents for a mortgage claim to be submitted to the investor (FNMA, FHLMC, MI, Government and Private) that are complex in nature. extensive investigation to determine claim ability to investors, reviewing all bills, invoices and following up with vendor, attorneys and property preservation service providers for missing documentations. -Obtaining documents for all claim types which includes follow up with vendors and attorney -Contacting vendors and attorneys for correcting details on documents -Reconcile outstanding servicing expenses and identify the expenses which needs to be recovered from the respective entities. -Prepare Claim basis the guidelines outlined and submission package to assist Nationstar in submitting a claim with FHA, VA, Private investors, MI and Agencies for outstanding servicing advances -Assist in submission of transfer of custody and Conveyance -Validate expenses denied/curtailed using the guideline and ensure resubmission where necessary or refer it to Contract recovery or loss analysis -Prepare Documentation required to initiate appeals with entities -Identify claim payments and allocate them as required Candidate Expectations Graduates (prefer accounting graduates) and above - regular stream only Claims filing experience preferred. Default and/or loans servicing experience a must Good analytical skills with high attention to details and accuracy Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems Ability to manage a pipeline of work from assignment to completion Ability to navigate multiple computer system windows, applications and utilize search tools to find information Excellent oral and written communication skills
