The incumbent will support the company's sales team to conduct market development activities such as Mason Meet, Engineer Meet, Architect Meet at various district clusters of the region. The person is not only accountable for executing the activity calendar for a region, but also help in formulating region specific programs for maintaining high mindshare, for products sold through Steel Mart, among the influencers and end users. It is expected that the incumbent will actively support the regional sales team in developing high recall for brand Steel Mart and products in Steel Mart basket through a systematic process of customer contact, both face to face and using online media.Desired Profile:
Customer and market related :
Interface with all channel partners in the region along with sales team to formulate various market development activities relevant to the region.
Execute the marketing activity calendar as per plan, collate and share feedback with sales and marketing teams.
Keep a close watch on competitor activities to assess their impact on product sales in the region. Submit a written report on competitor activity every month.
Develop localised schemes in close coordination with sales team and channel development team for inducing sales growth.
Training and development related:
Conduct basic product training program for channel partners and influencers such as masons, contractors etc.
Access need and conduct channel development training for improving channel partner business.
Participate in channel partner review for assessing channel partner performance.
Be a listening post for issues raised by customer on product, competition, consultants etc.
A minimum of 3-5 years experience in executing marketing events, exhibitions, channel motivation programs, product expositions etc.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
Strong communication skills - verbal and written communication skills are key to this role. Effective influencing and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy, analytical, organized and structure.
