MARKETING CONTENT MANAGER
Location: Hyderabad, India
Available: Immediately
Commitment: Full-Time

In our space, written words and the supporting visual elements carry tremendous significance towards our success. Our content must be able to inspire, inform and sell – often simultaneously! To make the challenge even more interesting, we operate 8 BUs, each with its own voice, customer base and product offering. For the right candidate, shifting between various brands and content types is a challenge that you relish and have successfully navigated before. You know how to work with a team of broad perspectives, listen to the various stakeholders (especially internal customers!) and build unique content that creates the desired results.
You’re familiar with long-form how-to content, concise SEO-optimized product descriptions, as well as promotional copy. And if that’s not enough, you are ready to fully immerse yourself within the IT services world and become a Master in B2B services (if you aren’t already)!
With those skills, you’ll work with the rest of our marketing team, our product group, our tech team and customer service to build and execute upon the content elements of both our ongoing marketing calendar as well as our new initiatives. Although the primary emphasis will be planning, writing, editing and optimizing content, you’ll have direct involvement in the supporting images, videos and other assets.
Success in this role will be measured by the ability to deliver world-class IT services assets and promotional content on time and in the voice of each of our brands.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & SUCCESS MEASURES:
The following chart reflects how you’d spend your time and the measures of success:
Content Management | Priority: 1 | Time: 50%
  • Create and/or edit the written elements of marketing emails, on-site promotions, direct mail pieces, etc.
  • Create and/or update short and long product descriptions to reflect clear features and benefits in the voice of each BU.
  • Create/update and optimize category-level descriptions to reflect a true point of view that aligns with our customer segments and positioning.
  • Create new and refine existing how-to content.
  • Optimize existing content for SEO best practices and write new pieces with the same goal.
  • Work to help define/refine our various brand positions and elements. In collaboration with Marketing Director, create a budget to allocate marketing funds to support content for all BUs.

Success Factors:
  • Revenue from marketing emails that meets/exceeds plan.
  • Email conversion improvement.
  • Improved conversion on product pages.
  • Increased in organic search ranking for product and category pages.
  • Increased engagement from content/informational emails.
  • Improved onsite engagement metrics for visitors who interact with our how-to information.
  • Increased weekly social engagement.
  • Strong relationships with influential IT services writers to help you produce educational content and to maintain our position as a though leader within our industry.

Content Strategy | Priority: 2 | Time: 35%
  • Involvement in creating our seasonal marketing calendars across all channels.
  • Involvement with social calendar and posting management that supports key themes and that support top 25 items for each BU. Leverage data to optimize performance of social posts + content engagement.
  • Partner with Product & Marketing departments to build plans to support a cohesive content strategy across each brand, category, and channel of communication.
  • In collaboration with Marketing team, identify new channel opportunities to connect with and support our customers.

Success Factors:
  • Execute against seasonal schedules and deadlines.
  • Broader social reach and engagement.
  • Generate dialogue, buzz, interaction, trending topics/content and conduct outreach for potential social partnerships for the brands.
  • Consistent customer experience across each brand, category, and channel.
  • Increased organic traffic to site and conversion rates.
  • Clear points of view and points of differentiation for each brand, as measured by both internal understanding and customer interaction.
  • Achieve overall site traffic and revenue plan.

Other Marketing Assets | Priority: 3 | Time: 15%
  • Identify improved image and video needs.
  • Write video scripts.
  • Mine other elements (live chat, customer emails, competitors) to constantly identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with Customer Service to improve training and scripting specific to each brand’s products and voice.
  • Oversee regular customer surveys.
  • Assist with new business initiatives.

Success Factors:
  • Improved conversion on product pages and other pages with imagery and video.
  • Consistent brand voice and messaging through Customer Service department.
  • Contribute to the overall presentation of Techwave’s brands as first-rate sources for IT services products and information.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree minimum.
  • Proven experience writing to achieve both selling and informational goals.
  • Ideally, demonstrable ability to work with multiple brands at one time.
  • You must be able to show that you’ve played a crucial role in profitably growing an organization through traditional and online initiatives.
  • Ability to show that you’re a strong listener who can synthe the viewpoints of multiple stakeholders.
  • Team-minded individual who handles deadlines, is self-motivated and looks to grow their skills while fostering a collaborative and enjoyable work environment.
  • Willingness to ‘do what it takes’ to contribute to the success of a small, growing business.
  • We’re into IT services – you should be too… or at least possess a thirst to learn!
