Job Purpose

The basic job purpose of the Manager - Sales is to proactively and methodically develop relationships with customers in their region, endorse products and services to them, negotiate agreements with the aim of maximizing sales profits and contribute directly to the organizational vision.

Job Description


Represent Comapny Product  in a positive and professional manner at schools

Manage relationships with existing schools

Identify and investigate growth opportunities for the organization with existing and prospective customers

Study market trends and new products in the industry

Provide market feedback to the organization

Manage, train and mentor reportees and improve overall team performance


Cold calls, direct emails, and perform other lead generation activities

Submit proposal to prospective and existing customers, negotiate to sign the contracts with schools

Track and report sales activities on timely basis

Develop and deploy plans to increase sales in respective territories

Provide detailed and timely reports to the supervisor

Display efficiency in gathering market and customer information, to enable negotiations with the client

Extend help and support in forthcoming products and provide inputs on special promotional activities to be conducted in the region

Review individual and teams performance and aim at achieving organizational targets


Basic MS Office Skills

Should possess good inter-personal, communication and presentation skills

Must demonstrate competency in networking, target marketing to specific prospects

Should be self-motivated and entrepreneurial with the passion and drive to build sales from a modest starting point.

Should possess a strong understanding of the sales process and should have a proven track record

Should possess strong analytical skills


Graduate/Post graduate from a premier institute


At least 5 - 7 years of experience in sales function
