Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Manager – Process and Quality to drive Process Excellence, Continual Improvement Initiatives, Quality Management and Global Standardization Programs.
The role is based in Chennai, India, with international travel as required. This person will be closely working with Production Optimization, Discipline & Department Heads, Production Councils and other key stakeholders.

The successful candidate for this role will be a fast, clear and independent thinker, who is naturally curious about how things work, is metrics and number savvy, with an analytical mind-set and has demonstrated leadership qualities. This person will have the ability to challenge status quo and be able to lead and drive change.

Shift timing: Flexible based on business requirements..

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Establish and maintain a library of standardised best practice processes and operating frameworks across all production practices
• Lead, implement and control global and regional process standardization programs using appropriate project management & change management methodologies
• Perform process compliance audits and quality audits and ensure ongoing adherence of best practice processes and operating frameworks across company`s global production organization
• Perform process mapping and quantitative analysis to identify value-added, non-value-added activities and wastage within operations. Determine optimum process, implement and drive process excellence
• Collaborate with process owners, global production councils, global production optimization team and other key stakeholders to establish and maintain a continual improvement program that measures and improves process effiency and process maturity unsing standardized models (Six Sigma/Lean, ToC, CMMI)
• Identify & enable automation to minimize manual intervention
• Implement & manage Quality Management System
• Coach and train operations on lean concepts and methodologies
• Enforce quality culture across the organization
