Designation – Manager- Interior Design

Industry – Real Estate

Location :- Bangalore

Experience :- 8-10 Yrs

Salary :- 10-12 LPA.


Job Description :- 
  • Qualified Interior Architect (B.Arch) or Interior Designer from a reputed institute.
  • 8-12 years of hands on experience on Interior design projects. Should have excellent command over primary software tools like ACAD, MS Office & high working proficiency with tools like Sketch Up, Photoshop, BIM etc. 3DMAX will be an added advantage.
  • Candidate should have experience of working on live Residential, Commercial, Retail & Corporate Interior Design projects including the design of common areas like lobbies, club houses etc. Should be able to drive the projects independently with supervision of peers.
  • Residential Interior design & execution experience is preferred.
  • Should have undertaken at least 4-5 projects of various s in its complete lifecycle with complete involvement in all stages like interaction with end users, brief collection, design concepts & detailing, iteration & approval process, material selection, GFC drawings, documentation & BOQs, coordination with MEP etc. & being involved in execution stages. Should have participated in material sourcing & selection process. Expected to have gained good knowledge of details & execution of design at site along with troubleshooting situations.
  • Candidate should have experience in multitasking i.e. handing more than one projects of different nature simultaneously.
  • Candidate should have good knowledge of technical details for constructability of Interior products, furniture & fixtures. Should have good idea of standard dimensions for each interior element & rational of circulation spaces.
  • Should be well versed with Statutory requirements, EHS norms, NBC guidelines etc. Fair idea on Industry standards, global trends, design benchmarks and costs is also required.
  • Practical knowledge on Base build, MEP & Structures required to interact with other disciplines for coordination drawings & understanding co relation of interior design.
  • Sound knowledge in Design Management & Design Delivery Quality Control. Should be able to communicate & coordinate with internal & external consultants with required documentation protocols.
  • Candidate should have good PowerPoint presentation skills. Should be able to make impactful PowerPoint presentations which are helpful to present the idea across.
  • Should be good at writing design briefs/reports & other documentation like Minutes of meeting etc.
  • Candidate should have knack for doing R & D and market study to keep the team aware of latest design trends & materials & their application.

  • Need to have bend towards gathering knowledge & applying it in day to day work thus increasing the quality of work environment.

  • Candidate is expected to have zeal to perform duties & drive creativity & innovation at work.
  • Should be a good learner, team player and should have openness to mentor the juniors at work.
  • Should have good communication skills in person, with teams or over the emails.
  • Should have strong ethics & values, mental strength to be able to cope with challenges in the work environment.
  • Should have good command on universal work language.
  • Candidate should be proactive and should take ownership of the responsibilities assigned to him/her.
