1. Overview – Life Sciences and Healthcare Business Unit (LSHC BU)

Evalueserve covers the entire knowledge services value chain from data collection, through analysis and presentation to generating actionable insights for business.

-In-depth profiles and newsletters to assess attractiveness of companies, pipeline assets and product portfolio, industries or geographic areas
-Competitor benchmarking and tracking including media monitoring, product profiling, medical/scientific and marketing aspects, SWOT analysis, clinical pipeline analysis etc.
2. Job Description – Business Analyst- Life Sciences and Healthcare
2.1 Roles & Responsibilities
-Team Management: Manage a team of 4-5 analysts and senior business analysts. Responsible for their mentoring, coaching and managing the annual appraisals for them
-Project Management: Define problem statement and initial hypothesis; designing an optimal research approach with a mix of research techniques (e.g., primary/secondary/modeling).
-Ability to arrive at key messages/highlights addressing key objectives as summary of results
-Presenting results of the research to the Client and handling Client queries over calls
-Business Development: Support the sales team on new requests or new business proposition by being an active participant during the sales pitch or RFP process
-Work on new solutions/ services for the Clients
-Prepare sales collaterals and presentations
2.1. Skill sets Required
-Systematic literature review and meta-analysis of epidemiological and health outcomes evidence
-Forecasting of epidemiological data
-Health economics analysis and modeling
-Market access research support including support for value dossiers for different geographies
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong interpersonal skills with ability to practice attentive and active listening skills
-Proven track record of managing small teams is an advantage
-Mindset to identify and solve issues effectively
-Respect for time and ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner
-Independent thinking and challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working
-Ability to identify pro-active ways to contribute to the firm’s goals & mission
-Command over MS Office
2.2. Education & Experience
-5-8 years of relevant experience in research and analytics either in a Pharmaceutical company, any knowledge center or a KPO
-To be decided on a case-by-case basis, pegged with the best in the industry.
