Job Description
  • Preparation and review responsibilities of following work performed by the team involving accounting functions:
  • Month end accounting, analysis of PL and BS, and finalization of trial balance.
  • Support Statutory, Regulatory & Management reporting including expense analysis, investigation of variances and providing commentaries.
  • Preparation of Statutory Financial Statements along with relevant Notes to the Accounts.
  • Ensure timely delivery of work and providing regular update to all stakeholders including clients.
  • Preparing and updating process documentation and to keep it up to date all the time.
  • Work collaboratively with team of staff performing similar tasks across FC teams.
  • Manage responses to queries from clients and auditors
  • Develop Knowledge of the Business, Accounting Systems, Reconciliation policy, Finance Control Standards & Quality Framework and ensure compliance with these.
  • Driving key projects in the Financial Control space.
  • Ensure timely delivery of work and providing regular update to all stakeholders including clients
  • Review of process documentation to keep it up to date all the time.
  • Training and developing new starters; Leading and managing the team, and doing effective appraisals.
  • Liaising with auditors (internal & external) and responding to their queries
  • Stakeholder Management and handle escalations
, Desired Profile
  • Postgraduate / professional accounting qualification, preferably CA or CPA
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years of post qualification experience
  • Flexibility to work in different time zones.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills with ability to deliver high quality presentations and management reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data and present meaningful analysis
  • Strong team player
