Job Description
What you will be doing

Team Player with good interpersonal skills

Good Communication skills

Good Analytical and Problem-Solving skills

Experience in Production / Technical / Operations Support

Knowledge of multiple operating systems and related utilities and hardware

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public

Ability to work independently as well as within a team

Assists with recommending, scheduling and implementing system hardware and/or software upgrades or repairs

Controls user access and passwords

Effective Analytical, problem solving, installation and maintenance skills

Installs, maintains, and upgrades internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products.

Knowledge of multiple operating systems, Linux/Unix and related utilities and hardware

Monitors usage and performance

Other related duties assigned as needed.

Proposes and implements system enhancements that will improve reliability and performance of system.

Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth.

Researches, evaluates, and recommends software and hardware products.

Supports Web Access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment.

Trains personnel on system usage.

Troubleshoots server, software and hardware issues

What you bring:

5 – 7 years of experience in Linux/Unix Admin

Good experience in Linux, Scripting, Vulnerabilities.

Willing to work in the US Shift timing.

Installs, maintains and upgrades internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products

Controls user access and passwords

Proposes and implements system enhancements that will improve reliability and performance of system

Monitors usage and performance

Trains personnel on system usage

Troubleshoots server, software and hardware issues

Assists with recommending, scheduling and implementing system hardware and/or software upgrades or repairs

Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products

Supports Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment

Other related duties assigned as needed.

Knowledge of FIS’ products and services

Willingness to learn new Technology and Challenges

Experience in Production / Technical / Operations Support

Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization

Knowledge of financial services industry

Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
