India Engineering Center (IEC) was established in late 2006 in the city of Chennai, in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. The center currently houses approximately 450 Dow and non-Dow employees across various functions and businesses. With 95% of these employees belonging to Engineering Solutions, IEC is the largest Engineering Solutions site outside of the US.
IEC provides a broad range of project and support based engineering services including Design Engineering, Project Engineering and Project Controls, Construction Management, Process Automation, Process Engineering and Process Safety. The overall value engineering strategy is based on the following four elements and supported by a strong Process Automation and Process Engineering expertise. Various Engineering Hub Services like P&ID, SP3D, Stress Calculations, GMISS, etc. are delivered out of IEC to all global Dow sites. This strategy enables ES to expand its resource pool to support growth regions and execute more projects internally.

Interacting with external customers and internal customers and addressing their queries, requests and complaints.
Committed TATs are met consistently
Complaints Management- addressing customer complaints at the branch, system updation, coordination with Sales/HUB/ other functions for resolution.
Refunds processing and dispatch
Undelivered policy documents tracking and management.
Maintenance of all files and registers.
New Business Processing:-
Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
