 Lead Generation Specialist

We’re looking for proactive individuals who can think on their feet, show initiative while helping our sales team to generate leads to maximize our market presence.

In this full-time position, the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a ring side view of IT enabled services provided by Pathway Communications to the potential customer base. In addition; the Lead generation Specialist will be responsible for following up with customers on a regular basis while ensuring timely updates to the sales team regarding the progress. 


• Prospecting for new clients/ lead generation

• Execute marketing plan/marketing campaigns (e.g. targeted e‐shot, mail shot)

• Follow up and qualify contacts from web registrations, promotions, events and

other marketing and sales activities

• Preparation and presentation of results from campaigns

• Developing and maintaining the prospect database

• Responsible for telephone and email prospecting; qualifying and processing marketing leads for the sales team

• Sourcing contact information through market research

• Ability to understand different buying personas, position and communicate the value of Pathway communications, and persuade and convince new business prospects to learn more.

• Ability to identify target profiles and market

• Set appointments for sales for discussion and with ultimate goal of closing qualified leads

• Maintain and update an accurate log of activity in the CRM system 

Skills and Experience

• Experience of using a CRM system to log calls, build contacts and record information.

• Good English language skills both written and spoken

• Telemarketing or telesales (minimum 1-2 years)

• Experience with technology solutions is advantageous

• Strong convincing skills

• Problem-Solving: Strong probing, creative problem-solving skills

• Taking ownership of customer problems towards the resolution stage; proactive when dealing with issues;

• Good organizational and task management; ability to prioritize and control workload

• Ability to talk and type while on calls; exceptional Customer Service skills

• Security/Privacy: Discretion with regards to security and confidentiality of information

• Work Ethics: Exemplary Attendance and Punctuality
