Job Description
Location: Gurgaon

Experience and Qualifications Required:
  • B.E./B.Tech. or M.C.A. in Computer Science from a reputed University.
  • 10-12 years of experience in data modelling
  • 5-6 years of experience in HRMS and people data

Essential Skills:
  • Good understanding of data modelling concepts; data entities, attributes, relationships, normalization; understands the use of advanced constructs including super-types/sub-types, self-referencing relationships and arcs
  • Can identify logical entities from a business scenario and determine full scope of relationship cardinalities including optionality; Build complex logical models featuring distinctions including identifying/non identifying relationships, subtype discriminators
  • Good understanding for designing multi modal systems to support operational, analytical usage
  • Familiar with at least one industry standard data design tool (e.g. EA Sparks, ERWIN, ER Studio)
  • Good knowledge of at least one major RDBMS physical metadata capabilities
  • Data Analysis, Source System Analysis and Data Mapping to Target Data Model
  • Good experience with HR data and understanding of People data remits beyond core HR
  • Understanding of HR MIs utilization within the organization, with an understanding of incoming future industry trends Knowledge in in Data Integration architecture / ETL / Data warehouse, especially large and complex data warehouses.
  • Understanding of Agile processes and experience in working JIRA.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills suitable for a diverse audience, with the ability to communicate in a positive, friendly and effective manner with technical or non-technical users/ customers
  • Ability to clarify requirements with stakeholders to resolve gaps, uncertainties and conflicts
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for supporting the People data architecture in the development of the Data Modelling Capability
  • Responsible for delivering data models within HR
  • Includes development of the:
              o HR Conceptual Data Model
              o HR Logical Data Model
              o Other Data Models as needed per approach e.g. documentation of application data models, as well as data                          flows / integration
  • Supporting the implementation of Data Management Policy and Standard
  • Identify and obtain approval from stakeholders for People Data Models and data definitions
  • Provide input to other project streams within People Transformation as needed
