• Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate production problems per operations processes, affecting the network infrastructure that includes Routers , Switches, Firewalls and Load Balancers
• The Co-ordination of fault escalations, in conjunction with the 1st level engineers/vendors providing high-level technical management of priority or technically complex calls
• Provides Level 2 Incident management and Problem management support
• Perform advanced troubleshooting to isolate technical faults as the 2nd Level Escalation contact.
• Provides standby support on weekends and after office hour for critical changes.
• Deliver internal training and/or knowledge transfer to team.
• Complete Adhoc assignments as may be assigned by the team manager
• Experience in leading a technical call in troubleshooting incidents towards resolutions
• Experience in performing remote technical support
• In depth understanding of operational and troubleshooting knowledge of trunking protocols – VTP, 802.1Q etc
• In depth understanding of operational knowledge of loop prevention protocols like spanning tree protocols
• In depth understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, etc
• In depth understanding of firewalls and different deployment architectur
• In depth understanding of sniffer and how to use sniffer for troubleshooting purposes
• Ability to analyse and rectify complex faults on network
• Manages day-to-day client interaction and expectations, clearly articulates ideas and thoughts verbally or through mail
• Create, Review and Approve changes through change management process
• Experience in working in NOC environment desiredSkill Set:

• Singapore Experience most desired
• Singapore Government Experience would be of importance though not mandatory
• Minimum 4 years of related experience
• Having prior technical (Security VPN˿irewalls "amp Networking LAN/WAN) experience is an advantage
• Having prior experience in Security Level 2 support
• Technical experience preferably with the following domain knowledge "ndash
• Security ʏirewalls, VPN)
• Remote Access Service
• Routing protocols
• CCNA, CCNP certification preferred, Knowledge of any of the following:
• Cisco, Alcatel enterprise network portfolio
• Should have exposure to ITIL, proven client focused skills, ability to ascertain priority levels
• Ability to work in an international "amp multi-cultural environment
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work in Global NOC environment desired
• Ability to prioritise "amp multitask
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to relate and interact effectively at all levels
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent client service skills and client facing skills
• Flexible and adaptable to meet the teams needs
