Duration of contract is 1 year

Detail of the activity to be performed by NOC engineer:

3.2.1. Fault management

The main activities under the scope of - Fault management shall be as follows:

24X7 Monitoring of the Network Elements on EMS

Alarm management and resolution

Reactive Problem Management (Calls from Service Desk/Customer Team)

Coordination with field team to resolve issue

Coordinate with Network/Infra team to resolve issues outside the purview of ALU IP network.

Open ticket with ALU TAC and work with TAC for resolution

Escalate/Inform Customer, ALU and other teams per defined escalation matrix

Close fault tickets after confirmation from customer

3.1.1. Configuration management

Following activities are in the scope of Service provisioning:

Network Provisioning – Any provisioning activity on the network element

Provisioning of New Services (L2, L3 VPN) as per MOP

Routine backup of the configuration etc.

Software upgrade of Routers

Reports as per Customer requirements

3.1.2. Performance Management

Following activities are required to be carried out under the performance management:

Performance reports on agreed frequency (Daily/Weekly/Monthly Dash boards as per agreed format)

Inventory Report from EMS/NMS in agreed format and frequency

Network performance and statistics Data

Capacity Planning and Augmentation

3.1.3. Change Management

Following activities will be performed as part of Change Management

Understand Change requirement and Initiate Change Management process

Implement changes as per MOP.

Fallback process shall be part of MOP and will be followed if required

Change Management report

3.1.4. Transition

Post completion of project, NOC activity will be transition to customer team. Following activities will be performed as part of this exercise

Documentation of Process, flows, SOP followed during project

Associate customer team in NOC activities for smooth handover

Share learning’s and provide on job training to customer team

Skill Set:

Resources assigned to this project are expected to have following skills
Technical Skills
Should have good understanding of IP fundamentals, L2 "ndash Ethernet, VLAN and Routing - ISIS, OSPF, BGP
Should have good understanding of MPLS (LDP/RSVP), VPN (L2, L3 VRF) and QoS
Should have hands on configuration experience and Operation knowledge of routers and switches in carrier network.
Should have good technical documentation skill
Working experience on ALU routers will be preferred
Working experience of Mobile Backhaul and CEN will be preferred

Soft Skills
Should be proactive, take ownership and work independently
Should be Go Getter and work under pressure to deliver timely result
Resources assigned to field operation should have good communication skills and natural aptitude for dealing with people
Should follow the guidelines of Customer and ALU
monstrate workmanship in all the task

Resources should be quick learner and highly motivated
