Job Description
Create, edit and maintain operational procedures and documentation by working with subject matter experts and business teams to address business and organizational goals. Work within Oracle Service Cloud to manage content.
  • Determine the needs of business and end users of procedural documentation.
  • Select appropriate medium for content and audience.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts; analyze and identify business need and goal.
  • Apply basic technical writing and instructional design theories, practice and methods.
  • Organize content and write procedural documentation per style and brand guides.
  • Make documentation easy to use and thus crisp.
  • Standardize content across.
  • Maintain documentation as a result of change in process/policy.
  • Gather usability feedback from end users and devise ways to continuously improve.
  • Excellent written (American English) and verbal communication; Experienced in using style guides; Ability to write effective copy, instructional text.
  • Solid knowledge of content development software; Experience working with content management systems; Ability to rapidly adapt to tools and tech.
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills, proactivity and multitasking abilities; Client-focused and with strong prioritization skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office expert level.
  • Certification in technical writing or instructional designing.
