Job Title: Java Architect for Fusion Apps Oracle Cloud

Job Description:

LCM team develop solutions to effectively manage the lifecycle of Fusion applications, from enabling of low cost new deployments for both cloud-based and on-premise capabilities along with diagnostic and supportability tooling.

Below are the roles and responsibilities:
  • Forward looking architectural planning to make sure our tactical solutions are heading in the right strategic direction. 
  • Drive quick POC's for transoformational changes 
  • The definition of the technical architecture and frameworks on which all LCM tools are built 
  • The execution of the development of the architecture, including: 
  • Ensuring their technical approaches are 100% in synch and coordinated with other architects representing other LCM spaces and across horizontal initiatives; this includes being accountable across the stack, including SDI down through the FMW stack 
  • Working with the dev team to identify and communicate exactly what is needed from non-LCM teams (fmw, fa, etc) in order for their architectural plans to come to fruition. 
  • Looking for opportunities to have common services built, and are accountable for instances where duplicated functions or code is unnecessarily created. 
  • Creating, or ensuring the creation of the A360 tracking item, when requirements come directly from the architect; and driving the approval. 
  • Ensuring that no manual steps are introduced, directly or indirectly, not only in the areas they own, but in other areas they do not own (due to impact from their area). As an example, the prov architect owns that no manual steps are introduced in prov and also that no changes done in prov result in manual step in rup. 
  • Ensuring appropriate health checks are identified and pro-actively built covering their areas, and that the HCs make sense across all LCM. Wherever possible, auto correction should be done. 
  • Requirements definition around PSR items. 
  • Ensuring that QA test strategies and plans cover what is needed to effectively test. 
  • Assisting the dev team diagnose issues and determine RCAs, when their help is needed.

  • Experience in Product/application life cycle management 
  • Multi threading 
  • Data structures 
  • Design patterns
