Job Description
Job Title: IT Support Technician

Department: Information Technology

Location : Mangalore

Job Purpose Summary: To Monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of Envoy Mortgage. To install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: (or "Duties’". 8 – 15 numbered points)

 Creating, Managing and Deactivating the Domain and Application logins

 Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues

 Configuring and Managing the Envoy Websites

 Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with Customers and Clients

 Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time

 Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications

 Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.

 Installing and troubleshooting of Multifunction Printers and Scanners

 Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualification:

 Graduates or Diploma holders with minimum experience of 2 years and above in BPO/ITO sector.

 Experience in interacting with US clients

 Should have Knowledge on Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)

 Should have Knowledge on Active Directory and Networking, preferably MCSE and CCNA

Physical/Mental Requirements:

 Need to possess good verbal/written communication skills

 Needs to have a good rapport within the team

 Needs to be a team player

 Should be flexible in working in any shifts

Skill Set required: (3 -8 numbered points):

 The ability to think logically

 Excellent listening and Probing skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution

 Ought to possess good communication skills in terms of grammar, vocabulary, speech & pronunciation

 A strong customer focus

 Need to possess good verbal/written communication skills

Shift Timings: US Shift timing

Certification/Training Time:

 No specific time frame set for certification.

 Time frame set for Training would be 1 month

Production Time Frame:

 Time frame set for production would be 1 month
