ï‚·B.E/B.Tech or 12+3 years of education with 2+ years of relevant hands on experience
ï‚·Should have worked with ITES companies and Projects for last 1 year
ï‚·Must have good communication skills
ï‚·Must be bold to handle End User Calls
ï‚·Must have handled Desktop/Laptop Windows OS installations & troubleshooting
ï‚·Must have handled MS Office suite installations and troubleshooting
ï‚·Must have worked on Printer Drivers installations and troubleshooting
ï‚·Must have working experience with ITSM based Service Desk Tool
ï‚·Must have worked on Active Directory user creation and modifications
ï‚·Add advantage to have worked on Linux and Networking
ï‚·Add advantage to have certification on any platform
ï‚·Should have learning attitude and work on any new application when required
ï‚·Should be ready to work in any shift in 24 x 7 Service Desk environment
ï‚·Knowledge on DHCP, DNS, Internet Browsers, Wifi Configuration, etc...
ï‚·Customer focused and patience in handling calls

Job Description:
 Responsible for PC desktop, laptop configuration, printer configuration, and application support including Windows operating systems and software and other applications.
 Excellent prioritization, responsiveness, and customer service, along with excellent verbal communication skills.
 Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment.
 Responsible for managing Desktop assets and tracking the same.
 Requesting and coordinating vendor support.
 Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
 Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
 Performs corrective repairs on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
 Customize desktop hardware to meet user specifications and site standards.
 Performs work in compliance within specified warranty requirements.
 Address non-compliance issues w.r.t AV and Patches.
 Desktop, laptop, printer and Inventory Management.
 Responsible for monitoring, operating, managing, troubleshooting and restoring to service any terminal service client, personal computers (PC) or notebooks that has authorized access to the network.
 When the restoration is beyond the scope of the computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment the Desktop Support Engineers will escalate the issue/problem to L2.
