Job Descriptions:

Job Purpose The role is responsible to act as the trusted technology advisor and the primary point of contact to business executives and managers and to serve as the strategic interface for IT with the business units or functional area for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. The role is also responsible to proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units. Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
Engages with Business Units function heads to understand the business, identify their technology needs and helps develop, implement and deliver the business solutions in collaboration with internal Digital and IT team and with external vendors.
Communicates business needs with the appropriate internal / external IT solutions team to gain alignment between business needs and technical capabilities.
Develops and implements solution roadmaps and ensures successful introductions across the organization and with customers.
Collaborates with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with organizational standards.
Educates business unit stakeholders with regards to IT service offerings.
Promotes effective use of technology to improve productivity, eliminate waste and drive process simplicity.
Gathers high-level business requirements and denes scope during initial discovery by conducting meetings / interviews, and facilitating large group / cross-functional sessions with business partners.
Works with external vendors for development of IT applications and provides details on cost, value, and opportunity to optimize IT spend (initiatives and support services).
Leads the development of business cases requiring IT-based solutions such as development of IT applications.
Monitors that the IT delivery is meeting the business units expectations.
Identifies, screens and evaluates new solution opportunities to address unmet (internal and external) customer needs.
Maintains knowledge of multiple business functions and initiatives to identify where conicts / synergies exist between technologies and business functions.
Ensure alignment with the IT solution teams.
Develops solution concepts and business cases for new investments.
Performs business analysis and prepares recommendations and business plans as needed.
Possess strong analytical skills, including an understanding of business economics and financial resources.
Utilize the appropriate technologies and ensure that customers have the solutions they need, when they need them, and in the media best suited to their requirements.
Participate in strategic and budgetary planning processes, prepare and administer work unit operating budgets; provide recommendations on desired policies and goals and implement new/revised programs according to established guidelines.
Participate in field research in pursuit of new solutions and to evaluate the applicability and usefulness of current solutions.
Analyze and write RFP / RFI with collaboration with other IT team and participating in the evaluation process .

Ability to understand business functionality and translate it into application requirements
Ability to create compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations
Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products
Ability to partner with multiple stakeholders and influence project decisions
Strong understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards
Understanding of the various software development lifecycles (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Understanding of modeling techniques, such as unified modeling language, etc.
creative and outside the box thinker to envision newer technologies (IoT, Digitization, robotic, etc..)

Self-Management
Defines performance goals at the start of the performance year with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.
Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the reporting manager and bridges the gap through training and on-thejob learning.
Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.

Adheres to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, policies, specifications and standards.

Adherence to Compliance Requirements:
Identifies & assesses the areas where internal controls and compliance needs to be established within the Business Services Governance Division.
Promotes a culture of adhering to regulatory and other compliances associated with the Business Services Governance Division. Guides internal stakeholders and team members in the execution of compliance policies and uphold the compliance requirements.
