Job Description

The person shall be responsible for:

• Serve as customer service professional regarding investigating and processing Annuities Claims requests
• Ensure that all required information is available to accurately process Immediate and Deferred payout requests research issues, identify and take appropriate action to resolve.

• Accept/reject requests providing appropriate rationale on In Good Order/Not in Good Order claims requests.
• Work with appropriate internal partners or external clients to retrieve any necessary information which is missing.
• Identify process improvements and partner with appropriate resources to implement solutions.
• Collaborate with business partners across different sites on a daily basis to process work.
• Independently process service transactions which have been initiated by web-based or paper forms utilizing computer applications in a timely manner in order to meet or exceed service goals.
• Utilizes a broad perspective applied to the process as a whole. Demonstrates a strong knowledge of the process to makes informed decisions to move claims forward.

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Insurance & Annuities products and its back office functions.
• Product-specific or financial services industry experience.
• Strong attention to detail including demonstrated ability to meet accuracy standards in a high-volume processing situation.
• Ability to research and resolve problems, including the ability to quickly identify and resolving root cause of issues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven, transaction-based environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Previous operations, processing, or customer service experience.
• Ability to understand and communicate complex issues.
• B.Com / or equivalent with 0-1 year of post-qualification experience.
