The purpose of project coordinator role is to provide support directly to project manager, program manager, Transition manager or more experienced member of the PMO community in the areas of support of PMO Services.
Autonomy, Responsibility and Authority
Works under general direction of the Team Manager. Has limited decision- making responsibility. The scope of autonomy and responsibilities is arranged together with a relevant business partner/ client. Works in a supervised environment and is subject to frequent review. Role and Responsibilities
Participates in Quality Gate Reviews, coordinates project mobilization activities, and uses Atos tools to measure compliance. Documents Roles and Responsibilities. Is aware of the escalation process. (Governance and Assurance)
Ensures timely submission of project reports, produces project and summary reports according to the schedule. (Project reporting)
Populates RAID reports, participates in Risk Reviews in a supportive role. (Risks & Issue management)
Uses spreadsheet and project management software to support setting up work breakdown structures and project networks, based on the supplied planning and actual data, ensures accurate actuals are updated regularly - actuals vs forecast, maintains annual leave registers. (Project planning)
Procurement, invoicing, basic financial reporting, creation, management and closure of WBS codes. (Financial management)
Facilitates meetings, takes meeting minutes and actions, distributes and prepares documents, prepares presentations. (Communication management)
Administrates and manages access to Share Point project spaces, e.g. maintains and issues documentations, does health checks on project/ program documentation. Is aware of the document control process. (Document management)
On boards, off boards and provides induction to new team members, updates resource trackers, may raise Resource Request on behalf of the PM. (Resource Management)
Ensures that quality related processes meet deadlines (e.g. Cost of Non- Quality, Quality Gate Reviews) and provides administrative services. (Quality Management)
