HR Director /Bangalore,India /15+years of exp / 5.604Crores Per annum

* Leadership Stage Executive Solutions are working with an Multinational Conglomerate Company - It Comprises numerous affiliated businesses group who are looking to appoint their Indian HR Director
* Central to success in the above will be a strong business acumen, ability to develop business relationships in a blue-collar work environment across the Country , a hands-on approach, and application of best practices in HR that support the business objectives of this rapidly growing organisation



Responsibilities:
* Understands and facilitates the business and its growth
* Applies HR legal knowledge to serve and protect the business interests and assets of the organisation
* Establishes and leads HR functions for European operations
* Central point for staffing all the group companies in Europe
* Works with established vendors and sources new ones as required for temporary staffing and direct placement
* Partners with business and HR leadership to develop and implement a strategic HR business plan based on dynamic business requirements and employment related legislation
* Provides strategic and tactical employee relations support, managing performance, conducting investigations and resolving complaints and grievances
* Counsels and trains employees and managers in the interpretation and application of HR related policies or programs and any related legal implications
* Establishes procedures, prepares, recommends, and ensures that records are maintained for controlling employment transactions within the security guidelines established by legislative requirements
* Proposes, publishes, and administers policies
* Travels to worksites to learn the business operations, resolve issues, conduct training, and meet with employees as needed (approximately 20-25% travel)
* Drives employee communication initiatives and foster healthy and productive employer/employee relationships
* Advise and coach leadership on policy interpretation, culture, issues, opportunities and organizational effectiveness

Capabilities:
* Demonstrates knowledge of HR techniques, skills, tools and procedures gained through a strong HR background
* Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees and managers at all levels in a blue-collar work environment
* Ability to adapt to changing business needs
* Ability to present facts and recommendations succinctly with well thought out conclusions
* Ability to travel 25%
