Job Description
Major Roles & Responsibilities:

• Team Performance Management

 Lead & manage MFT-P Team, including coordination of dept activities, man management,… - to ensure team deliverables are met in timely & efficient manner. Team Deliverables include:

 Team Performance Measures: Meeting Delivery Schedules, On Time Production, WIP Management, Defect Free Production, Production Efficiencies w.r.t. Inputs. Safety, 5S ......

 MFT-P Initiatives as per Annual Plan & as identified from time to time

• Team Process Management

 Ensure adequacy of departmental processes to ensure timely meeting of team deliverables, including continuous improvement of the processes based on PDCA and potential failure mode analyses. Ensure adherence to departmental processes and DWM activities

• People Management

 Ensure adequacy of skill level in the department to meet its deliverables, including training & Development as needed. Ensure high team motivation & morale levels. Ensure Team Work Culture in line with desired Company Work Culture

 Represent MFT-P in external interactions - Management Meetings, Inter-department coordination, ..

• Resource Planning & Management

 Provision of adequate resources to ensure smooth team functioning. Short Term & Medium Term Resource / Capacity Planning

 100% Schedule achievement in all areas of manufacturing

 No Safety incidents

 NIL Customer product complaints

 Internal Rejections & Rework within target levels

 WIP within target levels

 Meet Continuous Improvement targets for Process Improvements (yield, cyce times, change over times, rejections, consumables ….)

 Meet Manufacturing Efficiency / OEE targets

 Department Skill Level > Target

 Department Training Calender 100% adherence

 High Employee Morale esp absenteeism levels

 100% Adherence to department Processes & DWM schedule

 Process Adequacy - continuous system improvement based on performance PDCA

 Process efficiencies & effectiveness as per target lead times:


- Inventory

- Matereial requirement projection

 Resource Adequacy for effective & efficient team performance

Preferred candidates: Min10 years experience in Production / Industrial Engineering. Minimum 3 years experience in shopfloor management. Experienced in application of JIT/ TPS/ Flow based Manufacturing principles.
