Job Description
JD:

The GM of Shared Services will oversee the Company's accounts payable, accounts receivable, and customer and vendor master data. Some responsibilities include: evaluating the business processes in each function and identify, document and execute process improvements that will increase efficiency and transparency, while strengthening the overall control environment. The role also requires the director to the role out services to group companies not currently using its services.

This role will be the point of escalation for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution of issues. This role requires proficiency in collaborating with internal team members to maximize opportunities and controls. The individual for this role will be a strategic leader and will be proficient in leading and executing projects.

In addition, it will require an individual who can be both hands on as well as have a strong strategic outlook with the ability to act as a change agent. The ideal candidate has experience establishing these types of services for large companies with controllership experience with hands-on management of accounts payable and accounts receivable, for a $1.0 billion + multi-site manufacturing, chemical or distribution enterprise.

▪ Responsible for periodic and quarterly reporting, including preparation and/or review of analyses supporting period close meetings and quarterly financial reporting processes, and schedules provided to external and internal auditors
