Job Description


· Develop innovation strategy based on market developments;

· Lead the design and deployment of transformation initiatives, in alignment with stakeholders;

Coach transition team to move activities to internal/external SSC as per global design;

· Acting as liaison across functional peers, drive cross-functional objectives for end-to-end optimization of the process in order to realize the strategy.

Justify and prioritize initiatives based on strategy and ambition. Formulate project plans including deliverables, planning and budget.
Prioritize area of improvements across all regions and processes


· Owner of the Purchase-to-Pay End-to-end process design and system solutions (based on the P2P design);

· Ensures end-to-end integration of all elements of the process, functional ownership via policies, procedures, master data, controls, organizational structures and KPI’s;

· Translate Purchase-to-Pay process ambitions into tangible performance and business targets;

· Lead and grow an efficient P2P process team, including development, integration, testing and deployment of further automation and process improvements

· Lead and coach the P2P team members in their personal development and ensure career growth is possible within, and beyond the department and company disciplines

· Ensure a healthy and robust internal control and risk mindset, and ensure that controls are delivered and relevant policies are compiled to.

· Promote process excellence by driving cross functional awareness (incl. training) around End-to-End Purchase-to-Pay processes;

Drive process standardization and improvement;
Encourage team to close deviations and monitor all change requests are prepared; reviewed, and submitted. Approve deviation logs including classification;
Key contributor to the Global Process governance board;
Sign-off updates/changes in relation to the Global Process Definition ("GPD"), Training Materials, and Work Flows;
Drive trainings in relation to the global standards and methodologies;

· Authorize deviations from standard design and approve remediation measures

Align performance targets, roadblocks, road map etc. with senior leadership team;


· Effective team management of virtual team members and responsible for their personal and career developments;

· Create high performing team through leadership, individual team development plans, effective performance management and on the job coaching;

· Effective people management of virtual team members, responsible for their personal and career development.

Level of Autonomy:

· Owns overall End-to-End Global Process Design for Purchase-to-Pay, including system technology, placement;

· Critical decision maker on implementation/changes of ERP solutions and P2P tooling;

· Overall responsible to deliver standardization and harmonization by drive closure of process deviations;

· Decision maker on priority setting for initiatives which improve EtE process performance;

· Decide on measure and design of KPI’s of P2P processes.

· Maintains productive team-oriented client, staff, and management relationships through individual contacts and group meetings;

· Identify and proceed to deliver on process improvements that are beneficial to organization consistently;

· Reaching out to business, ensuring all requests are appropriately and thoroughly resolved in a timely manner, and that the solution is received and acceptable to the business

· Review monthly performance metrics dashboard and report out to relevant stakeholders

· Develop and drive strategies to maximize value through both strategic and tactical suppliers

· Drive ongoing Supplier rationalization, compliance strategies, and tracking tools
