Technical Lead

Roles and responsibilities:

• Gather requirements, convert them into technical specifications and develop cross platform application based on the specs

• Design the technical and deployment architecture at the beginning of every project

• Responsible for the complete software development cycle.

• Need to lead and manage a highly talented team of 5-6 engineers from across the software development cycle: frontend, backend, devops, performance engg., testing, QA etc.

• Motivate the team by being hands-on, abreast with latest technological trends and demonstrating superior leadership skills

• Write, debug, and deploy code to production; deliver timely fixes

• Should be result oriented with the ability to meet project deadlines. Take full ownership for ensuring timely and quality delivery

• Work closely with other senior members of the team in executing the product and technology roadmaps

• Imbibe a culture of innovation and continuous learning in the team and quickly integrate them into the regular work

Desired skills:

• A passion to build complex, highly scalable, resilient enterprise grade applications and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment

• 6-10 years of experience in full stack development.

• Should have managed projects using open source frameworks like Angular, React or commercial frameworks like Backbase, Mobile First, etc.

• Experience in developing enterprise class React Native mobile applications

• Should have managed projects on Native app developments - IOS and Android

• Strong experience in Core Java/ backend technologies

• Should exhibit experience automating the mundane project process by creating Devops pipelines, automate tests and process, etc.

• Strong analytical skills, strong consultancy skills, and strong communication skills (written and verbal) .

• Experience of effectively leading high calibre engineers from across the software development cycle: frontend, backend, devops, performance engg. testing, QA, etc

• Should have come from a developer background of writing clean code with a high respect for test cases and design integrity.

• Have a whatever-it-takes attitude of working through obstacles to deliver a great product into the market place

• Excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability, effective oral and written communication, and leadership skills

• Development experience in defining, developing and maintaining RESTful APIs

• Experience of developing a large scale enterprise / consumer application

• Experience of handling on premise deployment and maintenance

• Experience in version control software's like Git or SVN . Maintain multiple releases and follow a seamless, frictionless process of version upgrade

• Good problem solving skills using data structures and algorithms
