Job Description

Job Description:
  1. Work along with a global financial modelling team of consultants who provide Excel modelling services, ensuring the integrity of the financial and economic models that support our key business decisions.
  2. Consulting directly with the businesses to design and build financial and economic models in line with the organization’s Excel best practice standards to support their decisions
  3. Carrying out independent assurance of financial model integrity by evaluating their logic and calculations, identifying potential errors and risk
  4. Raising awareness of risks around using financial and economic models by providing training across the finance community
  5. Providing project management in a global, virtual team; supporting colleagues with continuous improvement and other knowledge exchange.
  6. Manage a team of 3 local financial modellers, acting as first point of contact when issues arise be it modelling, valuation, quality assurance or admin-related.
  7. Be the first point of contact for clients for new project requests
  8. Manage global modelling project demand and allocation decisions with the modelling team’s other team leads

Skills & Qualification:
  1. Well-rounded finance professional (MBA, CIMA, ACCA etc.) with 4-7 years’ experience years in business finance (preferably with experience in financial modelling and investment analysis).
  2. Women Candidates only
  3. Economic and financial modelling (Excel spreadsheet) experience is essential
  4. Project management skills - track record of prioritizing and delivering your own workload.
  5. Stakeholder management - influencing, advising and challenging others - is an important part of the job.
  6. Problem solving mindset with the courage to ensure professional financial rigor is applied to commercial decision-making process.
  7. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Good commercial acumen & analytical aptitude.
