a) Support community mobilization activities at grassroots

b) Case assessment of every AGYW and providing counselling and individual guidance to assist selection of AGYW for different options under program

c) Facilitate identification and enrolment of AGYW into Bridge Education & life skills training under guidance and supervision of Master trainer-Bridge education cum life skills at DRIU

d) Ensure execution of life skills training by respective service provider/s in accordance with the curricula provided by JWDS

e) Support Master trainer at DRIU in assessing the life skills requirement of individual beneficiaries and Tejaswini clubs

f) Training and capacity building of Youth facilitators on life skill training.

g) Organizing life skills sessions at the club level with the help of youth facilitators and peer leaders

h) Identify and document main causes for school dropout of AGYW

i) Liaise with KGBV, NIOS and other educational institutions and provide them with details on out of school AGYW who can be mainstreamed

j) Facilitate enrolled AGYW in getting desired coaching support, educational materials etc. as and when required

k) Support girls enrolled in non-formal education program in consultation with respective education providers

l) Update and maintain Program MIS with related information on life skills training and interventions related with Bridge Education

m) Collection of the baseline information prior to the commencement of training/education program in regards to the enrolled AGYWs

n) After completion of education program facilitating girls with other options on vocational courses and business skill according to their interest or for higher studies.

o) Coordinate with NGO service provider/s for implementation of services through designed curriculum, manual and tools for program induction and life skills education

p) Work in close coordination with the government functionaries at panchayat & block level

q) Provide any other referral and need based services to AGYW

r) Ensure representation of beneficiaries from vulnerable communities in the Clubs

s) Deliver innovative pilots in hard to reach areas and to improve access of SC/ST as defined in EMP-SITP and vulnerable population in two intensive districts.

Reporting and Coordination

(i) Prepare and update the performance evaluation reports periodically and share the findings with Block coordinator.

(ii) Ensure periodic monitoring reports from bottom line in standardized reporting formats.

(iii) Liaise with project implementation team members, block level line departments, educational institutions, training providers, and other stakeholders to establish necessary project coordination and accomplish operational requirements for day-to-day tasks.

(iv) Participate and/or organize in relevant seminars, workshops, consultations etc. as and when required.

(v) Suggest innovative approaches and strategies that could be used to improve program implementation on the basis of best practices being implemented in other programs/states.

(vi) Any other relevant task as delegated by the District unit/state unit JWDS/DWCD&SS and/or other officials nominated by the Secretary,DWCD&SS.
