Job Description
Field Consultant

Whether it is our sales team trying to help our prospects understand the immense value of our products or the engagement team engaging with our clients to help them understand the depth of our product capabilities, the pre-sales team helps them achieve these through breathtaking product showcases and winning proposals - be it demos, POCs, comprehensive RFPs and RFIs or through accurate pricing strategies. The pre-sales team, with their wonderful understanding of the industry, domain and products also acts as the advisor of our clients and prospects and guides them through the entire engagement process.
As a field consultant, you are always by the side of our sales and engagement management teams and together help our clients and prospects realize the immense value and capabilities of our product. You also work with our sales and engagement management teams to create the "perfect" pitch. You also leverage your excellent industry and product knowledge and become the advisor of our prospects and clients during the entire sales engagement process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our sales and engagement management teams and create the "perfect" pitch for our prospects and help them understand the true value of our products
  • Collaborate with different internal teams to create a strong business case for each of our clients and prospects
  • Continuously capture the requirements from our prospects and contribute the same towards our product management process as well as overall knowledge repository
  • Act as the advisors of our prospects through the entire sales engagement process, answer the client questions and guide them to choose the right product
  • Aid in conducting market analysis and formulating strategies in order to generate increased business from existing clients as well as new prospects
  • Liaise with the bid management team and leverage the interactions with our clients and prospects to ensure we provide the client with the right responses
  • Combine insights and learnings from successful and unsuccessful engagements and combine them with industry and market trends to contribute to overall roadmap of the product and strategy of our company
  • Contribute towards the pricing strategy for each engagement based on the knowledge gained from the client engagement
  • Work with the client facing groups to build the pipeline and act as an advisor to qualify the opportunities
  • Work with internal teams and contribute towards overall product development by providing inputs from the client engagement process
  • Contribute by providing contents to our learning and knowledge management initiatives
  • Contribute towards creating our overall messaging that is aligned with the overall market and industry trends (leverage your learnings from past bids)
  • Continuously monitor regional, geographic and client specific trends and align our bids towards these trends
  • Contribute in providing inputs that innovate and improve our bid management processes

  • Very good understanding of technology and well versed with the latest design thinking principles
  • Excellent understanding of all areas of pre-sales activities
  • Experience working with developing strategy, business plans, building executive relationships and influencing cross functional stakeholders
  • Extremely high self-driven attitude, detail oriented, proactive and able to prioritize and manage workloads and meet critical project deadlines
  • Able to analyze data, look for trends and provide feedback to the team and management
  • Owns a tenacious and never say die attitude - able to follow-up incessantly with our partners and customers (internal or external) till a conclusion is reached
