ROLE DESCRIPTION
  • Have operational responsibility for the pneumatic installation in the layout.
  •  Drive the work from an operational perspective.
  •  Have a capacity to work individually or with a small team actively to secure the deliverables.
  •   Lead mechanical design engineering activities in a pneumatic installation area.
  •  Play an active role in the delivery.
  •  Integrate deliveries from others and secure quality and readiness before release
  •  Spread knowledge and develop competence within the team.
  •  Develop and manage networking across the organization and provide inputs to the project pre-requisites based on the component history.
  •  Ensure the deliveries are made as per the requirement and timelines.
  •  Frequent interactions with their counterparts and clarify the requirements and deliver accordingly.
  •   Periodic updates about the jobs to the team leader and group manager.

WHO ARE YOU?

  •  BE/ BTech / M.Tech/MS in Mechanical Engineering
  •  Minimum 4+ years of automotive experience preferably in the truck industry
  •  Hands-on experience in the Creo and PDM tool.
  •  Strong knowledge in the engineering fundamentals.
  •  Knowledge in the design and development of sheet metal brackets.
  •  Knowledge in the Creo piping module is added advantage.
  •  Knowledge in the mechatronics is added advantage.
  •  Basic knowledge of the pneumatic components and braking system.
  •  Good knowledge about the truck layout and packaging of the components.
  •  Strong and fluent communication skills.
  •  Good knowledge of the materials and material selection
  •  Knowledge and good use of quality tools - SFMEA, DfaM, DFMEA, RCA etc
  •  Knowledge of product development cycle
