As Director of Products with a leading E-Commerce Client of ValeurHR, you will be accountable for driving product vision, definition and prioritization, influencing product development and release planning, and supporting product ops and customer adoption. This is an important, high ownership and strategic role within the company, and our expectations are equally high.

Responsibilities
Work closely with the management team and business heads to understand business goals and translate them into product roadmap. Product line management comprising - innovation, planning, building and running the product.
• Proactively identify opportunities and make actionable recommendations to drive market leadership.
• Responsible for end to end product definition, work closely with engineering team to ensure timely delivery and communication regarding deliveries with all stakeholders.
• Measure impact of all deliveries and back it up with appropriate data. Constantly iterating on product offerings based on feedback & data.
• Lead and mentor Product Managers. Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise product managers, project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Your scope may be for about 50 to 100 Engineers at company.
• While we do not expect Program Management leaders to be the only innovators in the company, we do expect PMs to nurture innovation.
• Define product vision and detail out scope and phases for iteratively shipping minimalistic but high impact product subset, which supports customer needs and business goals.
• Run and improvise the product development process working closely with all stakeholders to accelerate pace and quality of execution.
• Validate product direction interacting with customers and internal stakeholders in addition to analyzing market and product trends and competitive landscape.
• Prioritize product features, author or review MRDs (Market requirements document) and PRDs.
• Engage closely with engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods and reasonable execution schedule.
• Proactively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders. Identify, mitigate, communicate, escalate and manage risks earlySkill Set:

• Highly customer focused in all approaches.
• Strong problem solving, Strategy, Prioritization skills with an eye for detail.
• Strong understanding of technology and its application to solve business needs
• Product management experience, preferably in a large scale web environment. Experience of being in a start up will be an added plus.
• Hiring, managing and grooming people in the organization. You need to have a very sound "quotworld view*"quot and a great ability to connect with all kinds of people.
• Proven experience of building successful consumer facing products.
• Ability to come up with lots of ideas and improvements on existing offerings
• Ability to think deeply through scenarios "amp offerings
• Experience building products from concept to launch and running successfully in production. Solid mix of technical, product and business skills.
