Data Integration Lead
Job Description:
Data Integration Lead should possess detailed working knowledge of Standard ERP and must have Business processes knowledge in Finance domain and experience in Data Integration platform/tools. Should have expertise in key integration tools and data staging namely Informatica, Workday & generic RDBMS. He/she should work closely with technical teams and data teams to perform smooth and seamless data integration. Should independently drive for results and consistently meet deliverables on projects with aggressive timelines. He/she will be responsible for coordination, implementation, executive, control and completion of project, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization.
Primary Job Duties:
  • Gather and understand Client’s technical systems, their architecture and data needs for Business and overall solution.
  • Understand Client’s technical landscape and provide best integration methods and data processing strategy.
  • Understand the data structures, systems and processes and design integration solutions.
  • Work closely with technical teams and data teams to perform smooth and seamless data integration.
  • Design low level design for each source and each target combination as well as design ETL logics for data transformations & aggregations
  • Design data load schedules according to various parameters and project SLAs
  • Develop ETL interface, connect to the source systems and build transformations
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Connect with Client/Onsite counterpart to design and build integration logic and to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each integration/ project
  • Delegate project tasks based on team members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of project
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Ensure that the project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

  • Proven working experience in Data Integration
  • Expertise in designing integration solutions
  • Experts in key integration tools like Workday, Informatica
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge on Project management tools

Preferred Skill Set:
  • Experience with a variety of SDLC methodologies such as: Waterfall, SCRUM, or other agile methodologies
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification
  • Data Integration certification
