Job Description
Role Summary: Consulting Head (Communications BU) is a trusted advisor for clients and Wipro in the telecom domain. The role is primarily responsible for solutioning, proposing and converting premium consulting opportunities into sustainable engagements for Wipro, and ensuring delivery of the same. The incumbent leads development of clients’ strategies, business models, and architectures, and may play an advisory role in requirements definition, design, and build. Principal Responsibilities: Crafts client pursuit strategies & diagnoses client opportunities many of which have scope of downstream engagements Builds an opportunity pipeline with multiple client through collaboration with Digital Partners and Sales teams. Leads or contributes to proposal and bid presentations to clients Reviews and assesses a client’s business strategy, including competitive positioning , strategic direction & proposes appropriate remodeling solutions Stimulates demand for solutions by adding fresh insight or customizing to meet evolving client/market needs. Plans the strategy and direction for key client engagements for the next 3 years Offer in-depth functional and domain expertise within areas of strategic focus, including knowledge of related applications. Creates reusable IP, presents POV ; white papers etc. at strategic industry and analyst conferences – Understands & supports change management activities, transformation projects and oversees implementation Manages upstream engagements while generating an annual downstream revenue for the consulting track Creates capability in the team by hiring, mentoring and nurturing talent
