Job Description
Hello Greetings,

We have Required Commercial Manager For the International Location Lagos-Nigeria
Job Description:
To take care of Import indenting of Consumables & Spare parts
To coordinate with Centralized Group procurement operations in Dubai and India for quick ordering and shipments
To optimize the inventory levels for Consumables & Spare parts by keeping proper reordering levels
To coordinate with Centralized Group shipping department for prompt clearing of import shipments
To take care of local procurement of consumables and spare parts and develop local supplier base
To coordinate with supplier/ centralized procurement team for supplier claims
To ensure accurate costing (both marginal and total cost) of WIP an various finished products
To do the cost-benefit analysis of various initiatives suggested by Plant Head or top management
To review the consumption pattern for raw material, consumables and spare parts and red flag, wherever there is unusual variations
To review daily production and highlight the cases, where there is unusual rejections/ products not meeting quality parameters
To coordinate with marketing team for timely delivery to the customers and attending customers service related issues
To arrange local transportation for goods delivery
To coordinate for logistics within factory premises
To analyses the sales reports and highlight the cases where there is unusual variation in prices given to various customers
To do product/ customer profit analysis and make appropriate recommendations
To take care of customer debit/ credit notes
Co-ordinate with Plant Head for Production planning in order to optimize profitability and to ensure timely delivery of orders booked
Commercial negotiation with transporters, contractors and other suppliers
Review and vetting of various commercial contracts
To coordinate with legal department on various legal issues and cases
To suggest process/ system improvements in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness
To take care of insurance and insurance claims
Assessment if various risks and take steps necessary to mitigate those risks
Any adhoc tasks/ projects assigned time to time
Candidate Profile
CA/ ICWA with at least 7 years experience of commercial operations in manufacturing plant (preferably Steel manufacturing plant)
Good analytical skills
Good interpersonal skills and must be  a  team player
Must be hardworking
Structured working style
Analytical mind
Experience of working on ERP Microsoft Navision would be an added advantage
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office especially Microsoft Excel
Presentable and good communication skills
The periodic physical stock taking of WIP/FG and stock items and highlight the variances
Periodic checking of accuracy in measurements of weights across the plant and coordinating for necessary corrections in case of discrepancies



Bachelor accommodation. Family status will be considered, 1 year after joining subject to performance.
Soft and hard furnishing will be provided. Utility bills will be paid by the Company
Medical reimbursement.
Free air passage twice a year, while working on bachelor status ( once in a year for whole family after family status)
2 weeks paid leave after 24 weeks of work while working on bachelor status (4 weeks leave after 48 weeks of work after family status)
