Citrix Admin

Job Description

Title : Citrix Admin 
Exp Range : 7 to 10 years

Job Location : Hyderabad

Responsibility :

• Should be able to carry out day to day Citrix activities related to XenApp/XenDesktop/Xen Server

• Should be able to handle issues with other citrix components available in the infrastructure such as Store fronts, License server, Certificates, AD
• Troubleshoot the VDI related issue by coordinating with user and other teams as required.

• Assess and Analyse the impact that comes through any incident.

• Coordinate with multiple teams, Network, EUS, Desktop, Database, Storage, Windows etc for any issues that could have a dependency.

• Should be able to analyse the trend of incidents and should be able to provide Improvement Plans to reduce the repeated incidents.

• Should be able to provide a detailed Root Cause Analysis of the high priority incidents and steps to avoid them from reoccurring.

• Should be able to handle the projects related to Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop and Xen Server Migration to the latest versions.

• Should be well versed with ITIL/Agile process of handling Incidents/Tasks/Changes/Problem Records.

• Analyse the Citrix & Active Directory Policies.

• Should be having good knowledge on Netscalers and their configurations.

• Should be able to automate regular task carried out and saving teams efforts on regular/repiteated jobs

Must have :

• Specialist knowledge on XenApp 6.5, 7.6, 7.15LTSR, XenServer 6.5, 7.1 LTSR, 7.2

• Specialist knowledge in Windows Server 2008 / 2012

• In-depth knowlwdge of TCP/IP, DNS.

• Ability to understand Project Management methodologies and work as part of a project team.

• Excellent understanding of Production, UAT and Development environments.

• Experience of working within a structured IS Support organisation, adhearing to Procedures and Standards, including Change, Incident Management processes, and the Application Development RealeaseLife Cycle
