Greetings for the Day!!

Experience : 4 to 6 yrs

Job Location: Chennai

Mandatory skills Citrix Xen App and Xen Desktop Administration

Good Hands on experience in managing and maintenance of Citrix farms on version 5.0, 6.5 and 7.5.

Good knowledge Windows 2012 R2 and Windows 2008 Servers

Deep understanding and extensive hands on experience on Citrix Xen App and Xen Desktop

Good knowledge of Group policies and Active Directory

Good knowledge on troubleshooting and administering Xen App 5.0, /6.0/6.5/7.0/7.6/7.15

Good hands-on experience in troubleshooting Xen Desktop 5.0/5.6/7.6

Good knowledge of Citrix Provisional Services (Exclusively on 6.X and 7.X)

Good Knowledge on Net Scalar Gateway / Load balancer related to Xen App and Xen Desktop services

Good experience in VMware vCenter administration

Good to have Skills but not Mandatory -

Experience in Development on HTML, ASP/CSS, JavaScript, VBScript, SQL & PowerShell

Experience in generating SQL Reporting Services

Knowledge of Windows Clustering services

Experience in Application packaging and distribution, VDI, Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop

Should have worked in RIM Delivery Model for at least 2 years

Should have been part of Global team of at least 5 people including L3 resources for at least 2 years

ITIL v3 trained

High Level Role Responsibilities and Interpersonal skills needed for this role

Ability to think about a problem, identify what we have and implement solutions to solve the problem independently

Work with onsite client team / Application owners in US / UK to install / Deploy / troubleshoot Citrix Applications.

Should be flexible to work in shifts, predominantly US shifts

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to think in and out of the box.

Self-motivated, conscientious, dedicated individual who works equally well independently or as a member of a team

Must be willing to take responsibility and ownership instead of waiting to be assigned work

The candidate must be willing to provide weekend support for Citrix support as part of On-call Rota in once in 3 weeks

Enable and support the team in resolving day-to-day production issues, application upgrades and patches, performance analysis, disaster recovery implementation, capacity planning and other activities as may be necessary.

Work on Change implementations during US business hours & weekends as per change management process

Available on call to drive major incident / outage resolutions

Documentation & Operational performance reporting

Own Service Improvements

Execute on demand IT projects


Drive compliance to client and organization processes and policies

Ensure Quality of deliverables
