CISCO Client Admin-

Job Description

The Cisco Client Admin will have strong background in security technologies, with significant experience working with Cisco Client in multiple customer environments throughout the entire project life cycle of planning, design, implementation, operations, and optimization

Be an internal Subject Matter Expert on Cisco Client
Be an internal Subject Matter Expert with IEEE 802.1x
Assess, design, implement, troubleshoot, and document Cisco Client configuration
Develop both high level and detailed implementation and test plans
Provide knowledge transfer and informal training to clients and co workers
Experience in Deploy, Design and Implementation of Cisco Client
Demonstrable expertise with Cisco Client in wired, wireless, VPN configuration
Experience in designing and deploying Cisco Client for wired 802.1x
Experience in device profiling, zone segregation and auditing within a Cisco Client environment
Experience recommending and implementing best practice for workstation 802.1x authentication
Working technical knowledge of network control protocols, network management protocols and security protocols
Enterprise routing, switching and data center
Certifications in multiple technology areas are a significant plus
Knowledge/experience on Routing, Switching, Wireless in Cisco products will be an added advantage

Business Analysis:
Understand existing client environment completely
Analyze current business requirements
Identify new areas on an ongoing basis and suggest accordingly
Network design concepts
Network monitoring and maintenance tool

Troubleshoot problems associated with network/firewall connectivity
Take ownership and responsibility of queries, issues and problems assigned to the Network/Firewall related issues
Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues
Dealing with queries by following SOPs for fault resolution
Maintains IT records and tracking hardware and software inventory for areas of responsibility
Develop sound understanding of IT operations and IT systems as well as business related processes and procedures
Maintain adequate knowledge of all network and firewall devices used to provide a high level of support
Maintains and consistently demonstrates a general knowledge of company guidelines, processes, practices and procedures
