Job Description
The C&R engineer will work closely with the L2 support teams on defining change requirements and align with the development team (L3, vendors) for technical design and effort validation. Further, he/she will define periodic release plans and release schedules in coordination with the domain teams and the L3 vendor while being supervised by the C&R Lead. He / she would manage the execution of release activities and co-ordinate with the L3 development teams to ensure releases are delivered on time and within budget.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Provide inputs for the design and development of the change management process. 
  • Obtain business requirements and use cases / user stories from Domains for all enhancements. Validate all such requirements and articulate to the L3 teams. 
  • Serve as a SPOC to the L3 vendor development team and coordinate all development and testing activities. Help development team to understand the error causes on production environment. 
  • Review and get technical feasibility validation of the technical design provided by L3 vendor for the change requests related to the assigned set of applications. 
  • Work on roll-back scenarios and identify cases where roll-backs are necessary. 
  • Assist the C&R Lead in the design and development of the release management process. 
  • For the assigned set of applications, maintain the release schedule and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors. Track and ensure adherence to release plan for the releases related to the assigned set of applications. 
  • Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality. 
  • Assist the C&R Lead in conducting Release Readiness reviews, Milestone reviews, & Business Go/No-Go reviews with L3 vendor teams & respective AMs from the domain. 
  • Work closely with the Deployment Analyst and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the deployment plans and checklist.
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
  • Strong IT background, 10 years of experience. 
  • BS degree in Information technology, computer science or related. 
  • Project Manager Experience in software development, 5 years or more. Preferable PMP certification. 
  • Strong experience in Project Development Life cycle. 
  • Expertise on Business requirement definition. 
  • Experience in application design, testing, automated deployment for Web Applications. 
  • Experience in application sustainment 3 years. 
  • Experience in Agile projects, 2 years. 
  • Data Bases Oracle, SQL. 
  • Background experience in Visual Studio .NET, VSTS. 
  • 11. MS Office, MS Project and Excel advanced.
