Business Development Executive

Job Description
Desired profile Work independently on supporting field sales in various aspects of pre-sales and sales including:

Developing Sales pipeline

1. Collaborating with sales and leadership to identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities.

2. Developing customized targeted sales strategies

3. Sending emails and making multiple outbound calls to potential clients

4. Understanding prospect’s needs and pitching accordingly in emails and outbound calls

5. Maintaining a quality pipeline for all field sales team

6. Travel (as and when required), attend, and represent HealthAsyst at trade-shows and conferences, to meet customers, pitch solution and generate leads.

Proposals and Contracts

7. Support the sales team by coordinating on prospect requirements and negotiating on pricing with the internal teams to create a win-win situation for the parties involved.

8. Create winning proposals for prospects that accurately captures all the latest and most updated product functionalities

9. Preparing contracts and integrating contract requirements with business priorities/roadmap.

10. Proactively scope the customer requirements/pain-points, and conceptualize solution that optimizes value for both- Customer and HealthAsyst.

11. Responding to any customer specific RFI by coordinating between senior management, sales and technical team.

Market Research

12. Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources

13. Creating a list/database of prospect clients and maintaining that database in CRM (Salesforce) and discover decision makers, influencers

14. Carry out regular research on the healthcare industry trends and competitive landscape to identify ideas that can contribute to better competitive positioning.

Key Success Factors

1. Prior experience interacting/calling customers

2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

3. Self-starter, results driven with a go getter attitude

4. Ability to produce high quality proposals and contracts

5. Ability to learn software products in-depth

6. Prior experience in healthcare industry is preferred

Other skills • Good knowledge of quantitative methods

• Team work and Collaboration

• Leadership qualities

• Experience in using MS office suite - PowerPoint, Excel, Word and any CRM tool

Education BE/B Tech and MBA from a reputed management institute
