Job Description
Job Profile:

Business Development for the company's technical products in NCR and adjacent markets. Connect with MT and other big Kiryana stores and sell the concept of the App.

1. Identifying new sales leads

a. Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets.

b. Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions at MT Stores.

c. Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.

d. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

e. Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events when it comes to the challenge of actually selling.

f. Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of key MT accounts.

2. Meeting Clients and Selling the Concept

a. Meeting Modern Trade store Owners in Delhi NCR and Neighbouring states to pitch for the business.

b. Explaining the concept and thought of the Application along with the features available.

c. Conducting demo activities for the Android Application in the stores with the promoters and the employees of the store.

d. Motivate store promoters to offer additional sales and discounts on the App on a regular basis.

e. Builds a connect with the store owners/employees and helps in getting their issues solved/addressed by connecting with the backend team.

3. Ensuring backend support for the Stores on the App

a. Ensuring that the App is working properly in the store.

b. Aligning the Back end team for helping the store in getting the Offers Created/changed and approved.

c. Providing all help required by the store to use the App properly.

4. Other typical duties include:

a. Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays.

b. Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the companys services.

c. Developing quotes and proposals.

d. Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.

e. Write reports and provide feedback to management about what is and is not working.

f. Monitors competition if any from other service providers by gathering current marketplace information on product, service and pricing.

g. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and result reports

h. Ensure Brand communication / positioning / pricing as per company direction.

Qualification and Abilities:

- MBA Preferred

- Should be mobile & able to stay in the Field/Market for Long Hours.

- Should able to manage institutional sales.

- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

- Confident/Good personality

- Convincing/salesman skill

- Have Creative Knowledge

- Operationally Strong

- Should be a keen observer / listener

- Comprehensive knowledge of the company's and competitors products.

- Thorough knowledge of local market.

- Aptitude for financial numbers.

- 2-3 years of experience in FMCG sales in modern trade

- Understand Startup Culture and be willing to grow in the Startup.

- Track record of delivery, goal oriented along with ability to set clear priorities and meet deadlines

- Result oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivated

- Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from a lot of data

- Preferred FMCG industry with experience of working at,with large retail chains

The organization's focus is on helping small kiryana (mom & pop) stores selling FMCG products like soap, oil, coffee, tea, sugar. They are levers for all FMCG companies be it PepsiCo, UniLever, P&G, Dabur, ITC or the newer ones like Paper Boat etc.

We intend to provide them various platforms and services which can help them grow their revenue and profit both. This will range from connecting these shops to the customers as well as to connect them to the companies digitally.
