Roles and Responsibility :

Summary:
The Business Analyst is the interface between the business areas and information technology, facilitating the alignment of business process design with business strategies and business applications. This includes mapping of current processes to the desired state; is accountable for documenting business requirements, defines changes to business processes and works with the business in modifying those, tests and implements enterprise-wide business systems.
The Business Analyst will work directly with business, PMO, all levels of management, technical staff, architects, and vendors to analyze Business Requirements. Actively participate in requirements elicitation and apply a combination of business and technical knowledge to solve business problems with cost-effective technical solutions. Use creative problem solving skills to remove barriers and effective communication skills to keep all parties informed regarding status.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Define business needs by analyzing and documenting business processes including as-is and to-be state.
Perform analysis of the organization/business units(s) to identify opportunities and challenges and make recommendations for process and system improvements.
Provide functional design, current and future state flows, testing approach, and impact analysis.
Ensure all solutions achieve the defined business objectives and success metrics.
Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.
Prepare project and system related documentation consistent with standards and procedures outlined in the applicable development methodologies.
Serve as a liaison between IT, vendors and the supported business areas.
Provide updates and communication to customers, management and IT; escalate issues as appropriate.
Collaborate with project managers and project sponsors to define project scope and vision and identify constraints, dependencies, assumptions, risks and issues.
Translate conceptual business and user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to solution designers and developers and/or the project team.
Facilitate and participate in quality peer reviews of requirement artifacts to ensure requirements are complete, consistent, comprehensible, feasible, and conform to standards.
Work with peers, stakeholders and project team to prioritize requirements and gain approval on defined requirements and artifacts, assisting with issue resolution.
Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of requirements according to the established process to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
Validate test cases provide full coverage of requirements and participate in defect triage.

QUALIFICATIONS
Skilled in Software and Project Development Life Cycle.
Expertise in process mapping and modelling.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to effectively facilitate and bring together medium/large d cross-functional teams with different viewpoints during brainstorming discussions.
Requirements Elicitation, Analysis, and Documentation.
Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
Technology Solution Assessment and Validation.
Strong leadership skills and business acumen.
Outstanding presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
Highly driven, result and commitment oriented.
Experience in SAP/Local ERP implementation and deployment for at least two process, Especially in OTC and PTM.
Strong functional and technical application knowledge with hands-on experience managing requirements from areas such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Manufacturing.
Strong knowledgebase of current business applications and tools on the market.
Experience in broad set of corporate IT initiatives and applications (ERP/CRM/MES).
Experience in Dental appliance industry will have added advantage.
Strong spoken and written in English .
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Operations Research, Math, related field, or equivalent experience required
Masters Degree in fields listed above strongly preferred
8+ years experience in requirements analysis required
5+ years of systems analysis and solutions required
5+ years experience working with financial and/or manufacturing systems preferred
5+ years of software development preferred
