Key Job Description/Responsibilities
Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Level : 3 - 4 Business Area: gDAS Job Summary Working with the Technical Delivery Manager and senior program leadership, lead business analysis activities on projects to deliver technology platform which meet’s the business’ needs. This includes leading requirements gathering, preparing materials for meetings and working sessions, participates in QA testing, liaising with other project team members and being responsive to client’s needs, all with an eye on details in a fast paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Documentation of formal requirements and use cases, ensuring the business needs are properly captured and articulated. 2. Documentation of test plans, test cases, test scripts and test suites, which ensure that the software solutions developed and tested are fit for purpose, meet business needs and are operationally sustainable. 3. Coordination and execution of testing of applications based on test plans, test cases and test scripts created ensuring delivered solution meets the requirements 4. Responsible for preparing materials needed for client meetings (PowerPoint slides, supporting analysis) and communicating decisions made and action items agreed to post the meeting. 5. Responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of necessary escalations, producing and maintaining applicable project tasks and status reporting within a project team. 6. Collaborates with technical delivery team members to maximize and leverage the understanding of business solution functional and technical requirements 7. Directs and monitors development and cutover activities to ensure the traceability and optimum coverage of requirements by defined test plans, test cases and test scripts. 8. Collaborates with application developers, designers, and architects to ensure a shared understanding of the detailed functional and technical requirements. 9. Manages the progress of projects by tracking activity, resolving issues, and recommending actions; Provides senior management and project management with regular updates on deliverable timeline and project status. 10. Participates in reviews of plans associated with project execution. 11. Responds proactively to both business and project issues and escalates appropriately. 12. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Required Technical Skills • Knowledge or experience with SAP HR or FI modules a plus • Strong communication, technical and remote collaboration skills are a must • Detail and accuracy oriented • Excellent organization, analytical, planning and leadership skills • Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization environment • Strong relationship building and consulting skills. Fosters a climate conducive to establishing positive working relationships with clients and cross functional team members Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements • Familiarity with SAP or automated QA tools is a plus • Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working with Agile development processes • Scrum master certification is a plus. • Experience with ServiceNow a plus Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent education; 3 to 5 years of related Business Analysis experience.
