Job brief
  • The Account Manager will be managing set of Key Accounts in Verticals like Banking & Insurance (mainly Multinational banks & Co-operative Banks)/ Govt-PSU/ IT & ITES / Large Enterprise etc.
  • Operating as a single point of contact for any matters specific to your customers.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with the customers.
  • Negotiate business contracts and agreements to maximize profit.
  • Accounts managers will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams, ensure the timely and successful delivery of the solutions according to customer needs and improve the entire customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Minimum 10-15Cr business Target from set of Customers engagement.
  • Using an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to the customers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop new business from the clients to exceed sales quotas.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. Monthly/quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with pre-sales/Delivery and Project Management teams to ensure growth attainment.
  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.

Requirements
  • Minimum 8-12 Years of experience as an Account Manager/ Key Account Manager in sales from IT Industry and managed Key Accounts in BFSI, Govt, IT & ITES, Large enterprise etc, preferably from ITS business.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Good understanding of IT Infra (Server/Storage/Networking/ Security) or Application Solutions. Also knowledge on digital transformation solutions like IOT/ Mobility/ BI will be added advantage.
  • Experience of engaging with business and IT functions in customer organizations.
  • A deep functional understanding of at least one industry and / or a major technology area.
  • Understanding of opportunity management lifecycle, IT development lifecycle and various methodologies.
  • Interfacing with multiple internal teams to cover each facet of the solution beyond just the technical component.
  • A strong financial acumen would be preferred.
  • Preferably from Engineering and MBA Background.
  • Must have vertical domain understanding from BFSI/Mfg./Telecom/Healthcare etc.

Education & Qualification:
  • Preferably BE / BSc in Electronics or Computer science with MBA or PGDM in Management.
  • Relevant Training in Sales and Account Management.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Mainly excel and Power Point) and CRM.
